Happy New Year! Happy New Room!

Happy 2012 to Everyone!!  My husband and I spent our first New Years Eve at home this year since we have been together, it was really nice to not have to worry about making any big plans.  We invited my sister and her family to stay over and all the kids had a fun time together, it was great.

Now as promised, here are some pictures of our new bedroom....new curtains are up, new pillows fluffed,  barn door hanging and new ombre painting complete!  I'm in love with the room and just so pleased with how it turned out.  Here's some pictures:

A Daily Favorite

I'm not sure if all of you have heard of Hautelook.com or not, but it has quickly become one of may favorite places over the last year.  I'm a sucker for a good deal and they send out new deals everyday!!!  It's not just 1 or 2 things either....it's like multiple items!!  It's clothing, shoes, purses, bags, home accessories, rugs, kid's toys, vacations, EVERYTHING up to 75% off!!!

I have bought gifts, clothing for myself, shoes, purses, pillows, chairs....all at up to 75% off retail.  I just love looking at what is for sale everyday!  (They are not paying me to blog about this, I'm not cool enough for that...but if you sign up from my links, I get a $10 credit the first time you buy something.)

Here's a few things they have for sale today that I am digging on....might just have to buy that Jessica Simpson purse!!  Oh...and you can't actually see what they have on sale without signing up.  It makes you want it even more since you can't see it!  haha

Handmade.....I love you!

I'm on a pillow kick lately, I just can't get enough of them.  I haven't bought any since the pear pillow....see earlier blog post, but I have been admiring them a lot lately.  I saw these really cute rose pillows on That FunkyBoutique:

But as I was looking through the site, I also saw they make these really cool handmade scarves too!  I think I'm in love!

Fruity Pilows

I got my HauteLook invitation today and they had the cutest pillows by Thro Home!  I bought the pear pillow, it's going to look super cute in my spare bedroom!
