I'm so excited to tell you all about my mom's new etsy shop, Lucy's Cottage!

She is making the cutest and softest fleece baby and toddler blankets you have ever seen!  They are sewn with love and then hand appliquéd and embroidered.  And they are totally customizable per your specifications...which is even better!  They make great baby shower gifts(yes I have given a few out) or they are perfect for decorating your own baby's room!

She lists the fabric colors she has to offer and there are a variety of adorable hand appliquéd animals you can choose from to decorate your blanket.  Here are a couple of pictures of my favorites:

Guest Book Tree for a Birthday

This is a guest book fingerprint tree that I created for my Grandmother's birthday party.  I normally make them as wedding guest books, but this turned out great for the birthday party....it could also be used for anniversary parties, baby showers and family reunions!  The possibilities are endless when it comes to guest book trees!

Lucky Monkey

I collaborated with my mom on a baby shower gift for our friends that are having a sweet baby boy soon.  My mom makes these really cute baby blankets with different animals on them, we had her make a monkey for this gift.  Once she was done, I created a custom monkey print to go along with the blanket.  I think it turned out really cute and I think we may start selling them as a set!

A Daily Favorite

I'm not sure if all of you have heard of Hautelook.com or not, but it has quickly become one of may favorite places over the last year.  I'm a sucker for a good deal and they send out new deals everyday!!!  It's not just 1 or 2 things either....it's like multiple items!!  It's clothing, shoes, purses, bags, home accessories, rugs, kid's toys, vacations, EVERYTHING up to 75% off!!!

I have bought gifts, clothing for myself, shoes, purses, pillows, chairs....all at up to 75% off retail.  I just love looking at what is for sale everyday!  (They are not paying me to blog about this, I'm not cool enough for that...but if you sign up from my links, I get a $10 credit the first time you buy something.)

Here's a few things they have for sale today that I am digging on....might just have to buy that Jessica Simpson purse!!  Oh...and you can't actually see what they have on sale without signing up.  It makes you want it even more since you can't see it!  haha

Cutomized Wedding Gift

I know I have been terrible about blogging lately!  Things have been crazy busy at work and CCO, my Etsy store has taken off this wedding season! I have had a lot of invitation orders and it's been AWESOME!!

I have also been working on my collage art a lot lately and trying to come up with fun new concepts....I'm going to have a show at a local gallery this summer sometime!!  We are still working out the details and of course, I need time to make more great art...but I'll let you know once I have all the details ironed out.

This is one of my newest creations, a personlized piece that would be great for a wedding or anniversary gift!  I also sell these at CCO, my esty store.
